Ronan Rooney: Businessman, Property Developer, Philospher and Motivational Speaker
Ronan Rooney completed a Bachelor of Arts (honors) degree from University College Galway majoring in Philosophy and Applied Mathematical Science (1990). In 1994 he qualified with a Bachelor of Science (honors) degree in Surveying from Trinity College and a Diploma in Property Economics from Dublin Institute of Technology. He later became a Chartered Surveyor and Property Arbitrator.
In 1997 following a series of illnesses and a yearning for the true meaning of life Ronan embarked upon an extensive journey of learning in pursuit of knowledge. He spent much of his spare time studying ancient philsophies, doctrines, cultures,sciences etc. He studied with some of the greatest thinkers and philosophers and leaders of our time – Deepak Chopra (US), Robin Sharma(CAN), Leslie Fieger(US), Molly Anne Fairley(UK). Among the subjects studied were Cellular Healing, Reiki, Seicim, Integrated Energy Therapy and Psychic Intuitive Development. He investigated indigenous cultures, religious doctrines and philosophies and immersed himself in meditation, altered states of consciousness, past life regression, quantum physics and Vedic Astrology.
This period of Ronan’s life, which lasted 5 years, concentrated on the exposure to and retention of knowledge. During this time, meditation was very important to him and through meditation Ronan found all the answers to his questions and experienced many amazing insights.
Then in 2002 Ronan felt a deep intuitive feeling to go on a hermitage retreat. After 3 days he experienced a state that he describes as “total clarity”. Every book he had ever read, everything he had learned, everything he had experienced, all suddenly made sense and he felt compelled to write. Within a day Ronan had written the Secret of Life.
Ronan knew that the message was very powerful and that it should be shared with everyone, but he also felt that he needed to first live it, integrate it fully into his own life and prove that it worked before he could pass it on. So for the next 3 years he committed to reconditioning himself to these new beliefs and new ways to interpret experiences and reflect on life.
He began presenting seminars on the Secret of Life and then developed a number of CDs and this year a DVD on the Secret of Life Ronan has presented seminars and talks to business people, the general public and students from Ireland to Australia. He now successfully applies the Secret of Life to his Personal and Property business and teaches the Secret of Life to companies and organisations.
